(DCI), an affiliate of Journey Health System, proudly welcomes Dr. Vikram Singh Panwar, MD, MPH, MBBS, to its clinical team at the Bradford Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program located at 734 E Main St, Bradford, PA. Dr. Panwar, a psychiatrist with over 5 years of international experience and proficiency in community mental health, mental health education, and public health, will play a key role in expanding access to psychiatric care in northern Pennsylvania.
Dr. Panwar completed his MBBS at the University of Delhi in 2003, earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008, and completed his psychiatry residency at Kansas University Medical Center in 2019, where he also served as Chief Resident at Kansas City VA Medical Center during his final year. Before joining the DCI team, he co-founded Synapses Neuropsychiatry Clinic in New Delhi, India, in December 2020, offering outpatient mental health services, psychotherapy, psychiatry internships, and strategic mental health workshops.
Deerfield Behavioral Health another affiliate of Journey Health System also added Dr. Panwar to its psychiatric medical providers team in Bradford, strengthening its local footprint. He will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of clinicians to provide evidence-based care and integrated psychiatric services tailored to local needs.
